This motion picture comedy began filming in 1942 in Argentina but five years elapsed before filming was completed in 1947 in Chile, apparently due to a dispute relating to the director, although details are rather vague and Yma Sumac's role in it is unknown although she is credited as Imma Sumac. We have not seen this film (can anyone supply a copy?) but have found this brief and somewhat contradictory review online:

Excellent in every way, with a very slow and poorly armed action [...] the plot is extremely naive and comic situations tacky.
