One could say that this amounts to Yma's comment on the use of drugs.  It is not a pleasant song and is the most psychotic singing Yma put to disc.  Aural effects include natives chewing on coca leaves and moaning ecstatically as Yma bounds into wailing phrases that twice rise to high F.  An echo device is cleverly used to enhance the feeling of a dream-like trance as Yma contributes quarter-tones, gasps and moans.  A few wails sound a bit too much like "boogy-man" moans, but generally the atmosphere is successfully creepy and effective.  The main melody, if you want to call it that, is actually a tiny fragment that disolves into frenzy, and is sung in Yma's contralto register.  Her wailing up to high F simulates the cocaine high and her concluding gasp of indrawn breath says everything about this song that need be.
