Najala's Song of Joy is also lushly orchestrated but is more cheerful than the previous Lament.  It is brief, but effective.  This is a bouncy, wordless expression of ecstacy in G major.  Only "lai-la" is used, the traditional, Peruvian "la-la."  Most notable is a two-octave jump that Yma executes from low d to high d, reminding the listener of an equally treacherous passage in Mozart's soprano concert aria "Vorrei Spiegarvi, O Dio."  The conclusion, with its series of variously accented high Ds, is done with great verve and accuracy.
