The long awaited CD of Yma Sumac's 1971-72 rock efforts is here at last to energize the moribund musical world. The producer, Robert Covais, has also made available two previously unreleased works that he owned and which will be a joy of new sounds for Miss Sumac's fans. The additional tracks are Savage Rock and Parade, and the CD is called: Yma Rocks!

Since Yma Sumac's death on November 1st, 2008, Yma Rocks! has been selling quickly so, if you have been putting off ordering, we would encourage you to put it off no longer. Once the very limited Collectors Edition is gone, there will likely be no repressings.

Robert Covais has prepared new linear notes and Raymond Bennett, noted modern painter from Carmel by the Sea, has offered an artist's insight into the rare beauty of Yma. Make sure that Yma Rocks! is not confused with any pirated productions. Don Pierson has mastered a sound directly from the original master tapes that is superior to anything Yma's fans have heard.
