In January of 2000, an "alternate take" was released on The Ultimate Yma Sumac Collection (Capitol CD, 72435-21434-2-9).  Called "Negrito Filomeno", it is more stark than the released version and more closely resembles what she sang in public.  Rattles, flute, guitar and percussion provide the sparse accompaniment - although Yma's stacatti high Es still abound.  Indeed the range of this short piece (2:12) is three octaves from low to high E.

Actually, like the previously mentioned "Taita Inty", (see Voice of the Xtabay analysis) I suspect that this "Negrito Filomeno" may be one of the original demo disks that Yma, Moisés [Vivanco], Cholita [Rivero] and Hernán [Braña] recorded in 1949 at the Nola Studios in Manhattan.  The dry recording sonics more closely resemble those of the early "Taita Inty" rather than the clean, clear sonics of the typical Legend of the Sun Virgin recording sessions.  Cholita's prominent vocal position during this recording would also not have happened at the time of the Legend of the Sun Virgin sessions.  Another giveaway is the fact that it is obvious that during one section Yma is improvising.  Too unfinished, musically, sonically and vocally it misses the support of a more full instrumental background and lacks the secure authority of the typical Sumacian recordings of the Capitol years.
